Getting started

Kurzbeschreibung Technical alpine gate race with tight direction changes and aggregate run time.

Geeignet für Suitable for confident skiers who like rhythm, edging and time pressure.

Cost First alpine-ski basics, then race club/training gates; not for a first snow day. Skis, boots, helmet/protection, lift pass, club/race training, entry fees and travel. Ski club, race school, national ski body, masters/junior training or resort training course. Treat as alpine slalom discipline rather than generic winter sport.

First progress First gate sequences after solid ski base can come quickly; race line needs many sessions.
