Getting started

Kurzbeschreibung Space modelling is building and launching rule-compliant model rockets.

Geeignet für Suitable for technology, building and precision fans with safety discipline.

Cost 30-150 EUR for simple kit, motors and launch accessories; club launch is safer. Models, motors, recovery material, launch field/club costs and possible licence/rule context. Model rocketry/aeromodelling club, NAR/FAI-adjacent group or STEM/youth programme. Never improvise motors or propellants; local rules and safety codes are central.

First progress First safe launch may happen same day; competition precision takes many launches.
