Getting started

Kurzbeschreibung Kemari is a cooperative keep-up game with a light ball where the group keeps the rally cleanly alive.

Geeignet für Suitable for people who like historical movement culture, foot coordination and calm group practice.

Cost Low for a practice version with a soft ball; authentic mari/clothing are specialist items. Usually cultural event, workshop or historical practice rather than regular club league. Cultural association, Japanese community, historical sport group or workshop context. Do not model it as football competition; cooperation and cultural context are central.

First progress Simple passes work after a few sessions; calm long rallies need much more coordination.
