Getting started

Kurzbeschreibung Cowboy mounted shooting combines riding through a pattern with balloon targets and time/penalty scoring.

Geeignet für Suitable only for experienced riders in supervised, lawful sport contexts.

Cost Very high: horse/training, approved equipment, club access, range/arena supervision and legal context. Plan for horse keeping/training, event fees, travel, equipment and safety requirements. Only through experienced CMSA/mounted-shooting clubs or supervised events. No private instruction; horse safety, legal context and range officer are decisive.

First progress Riding control, horse trust and safety routine come before first starts; this takes longer than a normal taster session.
