Getting started

Kurzbeschreibung Blind tennis is racket sport with sound ball and tactile lines.

Geeignet für Suitable for people who want to combine timing, hearing and racket technique.

Cost Medium: racket and sound ball are manageable, but tactile lines and a quiet court need programme/club access. Club/course costs, sound balls, court time and possible travel to inclusive programmes. Blind-tennis group, tennis club with inclusive offer or blind/visually impaired sport club. Bounces, court size and lines must fit the sight class.

First progress Ball sound and first contact come quickly with coaching; timing over several bounces needs repetition.
