Bikejoring is a dryland dog-powered sport: a suitable dog pulls a rider on a bike over a trail. Commands, pulling harness, bike antenna/line, trail control, dog health and safe speed matter; it is not generic cycling.

Kurzbeschreibung Bikejoring is cycling with a pulling dog in dryland mushing.

Geeignet für Suitable for people with a suitable dog, outdoor interest and willingness to train safety and commands.

Cost Medium to high: bike plus pulling harness, line, bike antenna, helmet and possibly a course. Ongoing costs for dog health, equipment wear, training, travel and races. Mushing/canicross/bikejoring group or pulling-dog school. Start only with a suitable healthy dog and temperature/surface-appropriate training.

First progress Commands and short pulling intervals can develop in weeks; safe trail routines take longer.
